The RUCHED AND MATERNITY BOTTOMS are a classic swimsuit bottom shape. They have a flattering gathered front and smooth back. There are three leg cut options: low, mid and hi. They can be finished and worn on their own as a high rise bikini bottom, or have a top half attached for a cute one piece.
Only the outer layer of fabric is gathered with the RUCHED BOTTOMS and the lining is smooth and tight to hold you in.
With the MATERNITY BOTTOMS, both the outer layer of fabric and the lining are gathered to allow more room for your growing bump!

The Standard Bottoms come in 3 different views:
1. Low cut leg - this is a “vintage” style where the leg opening is lower on your hip for more coverage.
2. Mid cut leg - this is a medium cut where the leg opening hits right about the middle of your hip.
3. Hi cut leg - this is a cheekier style where the leg opening hits right on or above your hip bone.

Our patterns are meant to be building blocks to designing your perfect one piece swimsuit. Each of our different top and bottom patterns are sold separately, but they all fit together and can be mixed and matched. This gives you freedom to perfect the fit, and still keep up with current trends! Once you nail the fit of the bottoms, you can use that pattern forever, and add any of our top patterns to make a one of a kind one piece swimsuit. This also allows you the opportunity to mix and match sizes if your bust and hips put you in different sizes, and it offers endless mix and match potential with fabrics!
